F1 2021 just got the Portuguese 'Portimão' data track as a free update
F1 2021 is an exceptional racing sim: our review described it as "other superlative pretence of the Formula One world, at present with an enjoyable story mode excessively." Codemasters has just released some other reason to jump back in, in the form of the Algarve International Circuit, aka Portimão, the Portuguese Grand Prix path.
The circuit is available in clock trial, Marvellous Prix, Real-Season Start and online modes, and if you're mid-career and wear't want to start all over, never revere: It'll become available during your next harden. That's the first of three new circuits announced, with Italian Republic's Imola and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Jeddah Street Circuit set to join the game in October and November respectively.
As for the rest of today's update, a bunch of changes and additions have been made to take in the game a little more faithful the current real-life harden. Fomite carrying into action for F1 has been adjusted to reflect the real season, with time trial run leaderboards resetting as a result. The Aston Dean Martin safety car has been added to tracks relative to their appearances in real world, and there's a bunch of bug fixes likewise.
I played a fair bit of F1 2021 at launch and loved it; Francois Jacob is loving it to a fault, though He's spending a bit to a greater extent clock mucking around in the service department in this yr's episode. One time you start performin around with the finer inside information in an F1 game there's no saving you.
